Built by an owner, for owners

FiresideX is a one-person studio run by Rich Potts. One senior pair of hands doing the positioning, the design, the copy and the build. No account managers, no juniors, no handovers between departments.
The Fireside name has some miles on it
Fireside Brew Co is Rich's own e-commerce brand — built, run and grown as the owner, not as a supplier watching from the outside. Fireside Meetups ran community events. Polytribe, a members' platform, was designed and built from scratch. A rebuild for Nearly Wild Camping, a rural camping membership, is in the pipeline now.
Different projects, one lesson: businesses rarely stall from lack of intent. They stall from capacity. When you're running the thing, nobody has a spare fortnight to gather photos, write copy and chase sign-offs.
So FiresideX doesn't ask you to. We draft your copy from one interview. We fill the content gaps. We hit the launch date. You approve, you don't produce.
I know what an owner needs because I've been the owner.
Where we work
Owner-led businesses across Somerset, Devon, Cornwall, the Cotswolds, rural Wiltshire and Dorset. Rural by choice — this is where strong businesses are carrying websites that undersell them, and where city agencies rarely bother to look.
The short version
I build websites for established rural businesses — owner-led operations that have outgrown their current site but don't want to spend forty grand and six months with a city agency. I use a modern AI-powered build stack, which means one person can deliver agency-quality work: properly designed, properly built, properly launched. Recent work: Collstone, a rural renovation firm, and Polytribe, a community platform. A rebuild for Nearly Wild Camping is in the pipeline.
